Protecting Today... Preserving Tomorrow

Help save 5,800 wild acres of forest habitat in the central Pennsylvania Wilds from being turned into the largest dump east of the Mississippi. Let the people in power know this area, noted for its scenic beauty and outdoor recreation opportunities, is not compatible with a landfill-incinerator-industrial park complex!

PA Wilds Outdoor Recreation Initiative

The Pennsylvania Wilds Outdoor Recreation Initiative promotes the use of Pennsylvania's natural resource areas as outdoor recreation and tourism destinations.

How will it look when one of the major access routes to the wild woods of northcentral Pennsylvania is backed up with trash trucks? What about the noise and light created 24/7 from RRLLC's proposed landfill-incinerator-industrial project? How will this enhance the aesthetic and intrinsic values of the PA Wilds? How will it affect the health and well-being of the area's wildlife?

As it is today, the PA Wilds rivals the wildness of the Adirondacks of New York.
