Help save 5,800 wild acres of forest habitat in the central Pennsylvania Wilds from being turned into the largest dump east of the Mississippi. FHWA Additional Interchanges to the Interstate System: It is in the national interest to maintain the Interstate System to provide the highest level of service in terms of safety and mobility. Adequate control of access is critical to providing such service. Therefore, new or revised access points to the existing Interstate System should meet certain criteria. Scroll down to "Policy" to see the eight requirements RRLLC must be satisfy in order to get their proposed I-80 interchange.

The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service notes appropriate habitat in and around the CLOG parcel for four federally listed species of concern in the Endangered Species Program:

  • Bald Eagle (threatened; also threatened in Pennsylvania): Bald eagles are also protected under the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act and Migratory Bird Treaty Act which prohibit killing, selling or otherwise harming eagles, their nests or eggs.)
  • Indiana bats (endangered; also endangered in Pennsylvania)
  • Northeastern bulrush (endangered; also endangered in Pennsylvania)
  • Small-whorled pogonia (threatened; endangered in Pennsylvania)
